Canaan Utilities Corporation offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.

Security - We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page. While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Pay at Friendship State Bank: No Processing Fees

You may pay your bill at any branch of The Friendship State Bank. The closest branch offices are located in Madison, Versailles, Friendship and Vevay.

Automated Bank Draft: No Processing Fees

The worry-free way to pay your water bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up Automated Bank Draft, simply download and fill out the ACH Form located in the Forms & Reports Section and drop it off or mail it to our office, along with a voided check or contact our office @ 812-839-4000 and we can send you a DocUSign via email to set it up.

Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay

Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website).Your bank may charge for this service. However there is no processing fee from us. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.

Payment By Mail

If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five to seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.

Payment Drop-Off Location

You may pay your bill in person at our office address. To avoid longer wait times, please note that Mondays, Fridays and the first day after a holiday are normally very busy. There is a drop box located beside the office door for after-hours payments.
